Proper self-care contributes to your self-esteem and helps build confidence. If we can be part of that experience, that to us, is beauty.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to find your passion. Through thick and thin in any career, your willingness to survive and strive is defined by your passion for what you do.

One thing I wish I had known when I began my career is that good things take time. Especially today, there is a perception that brands are built overnight and that products instantly become best sellers, but in my experience slow and steady CAN win the race.

The woman who changed my life is my mother, Miriam Gee. As young girls, my sisters and I were inspired by her passion and her commitment to her career. Miriam would often come home and share her ideas on modern beauty. She talked about the concept of "getting your brows done" and how amazing it would be to create a studio where that could happen. As a young, budding, entrepreneur-to-be, I said, “Let’s do it.” And so our journey began.

I tap into creativity and inspiration by talking to my sisters, Celene and Stephanie Gee, our creative and social directors, respectively. We are constantly sharing our vision for the company. I am really inspired by them.

My first job was working as a receptionist for a start-up film production company. I learned the value of service, accountability, responsibility, and how to work under pressure. It was a terrific platform for starting my own business.

I unwind by going on evening walks with my wife Rachel and our sons. Since their birth five months ago, every night we walk for about an hour, and I have completely fallen in love with it. We talk, we walk, we breathe in nature, and we connect.

The one thing I would like to say to every woman in the world is, to borrow from Nike, Just Do It. Start small and try not to feel overwhelmed, but do something towards your goal daily. Try to surround yourself with people who inspire you. And be kind. There's enough room for everyone.

When people say beauty is superficial, I say that to us, beauty is a feeling more than a look. Proper self-care contributes to your self-esteem and helps build confidence. If we can be part of that experience, that to us is beauty.

I like working in the studio because I love connecting with my clients and I love meeting new people. For me, the greatest reward is when someone tells me how a product of ours has impacted their routine or lifestyle in a positive way.

The thing that I am most proud of are my strong family relationships. I feel very proud to have been in business with my family for over 10 years.
